I began my career in social work in 2000. As much as I have witnessed counseling help clients over the years, traditional talk therapy focuses on thoughts and emotions, but it has not always included the body, where much of our stress, trauma, and subconscious patterning are held. Integrative healing honors the whole person mind and body, to create meaningful, sustainable change. I work with adults, older adults and couples who struggle with anxiety, depression, low self esteem, insecure attachment styles, people pleasing/over-functioning, disrupted sleep patterns, relationship challenges, developmental trauma and chronic health conditions. Together, we discover and work to shift brilliant adaptations that were once protective but now hold us back. Note: I also see a handful of kids/teens (ages 6 - 18) and am trained in using Attachment Focused EMDR (AF-EMDR) with younger people when applicable as well as Sandtray Play Therapy. Due to offering very few afternoon appointments, I am only able to see a few kids/teens at a time.
